Steps to Add a Signature under Your Blogger Posts:

Follow the following steps to add a signature under your blogger posts:

Before adding signature, you must need to scan your own signature. A signature is actually an image. After scanning your own signature, you need to upload the image to any image hosting site. You can upload and host your own signature image freely in PhotoBucket, Picasa, TinyPic or other places in the world. When your signature image is ready to use, follow the following steps.

Note: When you scan your signature and save it as .jpg format, please care a little bit about the size of the signature. You may select the size according to your own wish. You may set the size 150x80 or others. Set it according to the fit of your blog.

Before advancing to edit or modify the blogger code, take a back-up of your blog. You may take a back-up of your blog's design, posts or widgets. For details, Blogger Safety : How to Ensure Your Blogger Safety and Ensure Your Blog's Back-up.

• Click on Dashboard.
• Select the blog, you want to add signature and click Settings link of that blog.
• Click on Formatting option.

• Scroll down the page and go to the bottom of the page. There you will find a text area named as Post Template text box area. Now, copy the following code and paste the code into the text area.

• style: It actually gives the style of your signature. Here, I use a tag border. I put the value 0 and it does not create a border. If you want to create a border around your signature, put the value to 1, 2 or others.
• align: This option is used to fixed the location of the image. If you put left, the signature will be set to the left side of your posts. If you put right, the signature will be set to the right side of your posts.
• scr: This option is used to set the location of your signature image.

Note:

From the above code segment, look at the fourth line. You may see the line like src="http://i42.tinypic.com/2q3ry87.jpg". The texts between the inverted commas are the image link of the signature. I upload my signature to that link. Remember, you must have to change the link to your own signature image link.
